![]() ![]() Please read the wiki before posting Rules: Post Appropriate ContentĬontent posted to /r/nextfuckinglevel should represent something impressive, be it an action, an object, a skill, a moment, a fact that is above all others. ….So there it is a brand new feature I hope to add to.A subreddit for gifs and videos that are on another level. It’s rude to go to a show and spend the whole time bragging about in on your phone rather than actually watching the show. Also, save the uploading for in between sets and after the show. For those of you guilty of this because honestly we all are, put your damn phone away and watch the damn show! Taking pictures here and there is fine, but take some time and watch the show in real time. How to Deal: Do your best to look past them or ask them nicely to capture the moment with their arm not extended so high. Either way, they’re blocking you’re view from this moment and getting on your last nerve. The girl in front of you pulls out her smartphone and begins videotaping the moment or taking photos and instantly uploading them to Instgram and Facebook. The Situation: You happily stand in the second row as your favorite band rocks it playing your favorite song. It’s like playing a secret game of Red Rover, make sure “Red Rover” doesn’t get through. If you don’t want to get shoved out of the way, make friends with your neighbors (assuming you aren’t already there with a group) and convince everyone to hold their grown. If you aren’t able to get there early then wait for people to leave the crowd and take their spot inching your way forward without hurting anyone (we’ll discuss why this is okay when we get to “saving spots.”). If you want a good spot, do the right thing and arrive early and earn your spot. How to Deal: First off, don’t be this person. You watch all the way until she reaches you and elbows you out of her way. The Situation: Again you’re standing in your spot minding your own business when suddenly you “feel a disturbance in the force.” You look behind you to see a little fangirl quickly and violently shoving people out of her way to get to the front. A lot of times tall people are something you’re going to have to just put up with.Īlways stand your ground. Last, find a new spot or leave the pit for higher ground (if possible). More times than none, unless you are unusually short, this person will act like you didn’t say anything and continue to block your view, but it never hurts to try. Second, if a window doesn’t seem to be a good option, then if you are feeling brave, politely ask the tall person in front of you if you can trade spots. If you can locate a window then go there and hold you’re ground. A “window” is a term we use in choir to describe the space in between two people’s heads that are in front of you. How to Deal: There are a few ways to handle this situation. As the crowd starts to pack in, though, you begin to notice that the 6’4” guy that was a decent distance off to your left is now directly in front of you and you have to arch your head around him to get a semblance of a good view. The Situation: You find an awesome spot in the pit while it’s still somewhat empty and you can see the stage with perfect clarity. ![]()
